The Environment Program of S4 Foundation addresses the growing environmental challenges facing Rajasthan, a state grappling with desertification, water scarcity, and climate change impacts. We believe that environmental conservation is essential for the long-term well-being of both communities and ecosystems.
Our initiatives focus on tree plantation using native species, water conservation through rainwater harvesting and pond restoration, waste management through segregation and recycling awareness, and climate education in schools and communities. We have planted thousands of trees and restored several water bodies across the region.
We work closely with local communities, forest departments, and environmental experts to ensure our interventions are ecologically appropriate and sustainable. Our goal is to create environmentally conscious communities that actively participate in conservation efforts.
